Why "×2 at once" doesn't work
The ad platform's algorithm picked an audience for your budget. A sharp increase forces it to look for new people — more expensive and less interested. The familiar result: spend doubled, revenue grew by a third.
Scaling in steps
- The setup should be profitable for at least 2–3 days in a row on confirmed actions, not on leads.
- Raise the budget by 20–30% once a day, no more often: the algorithm needs time to re-learn.
- After each step compare EPC and CPC with the previous days.
- If EPC falls by more than 10%, stop growing and wait a day. If it doesn't recover, roll the budget back one step.
Wider, not just higher
One campaign's budget grows until it hits the audience ceiling. After that you scale wider: the same offer in a neighbouring GEO, new creatives for the same audience, a copy of the campaign with a different angle. The setup earns more without overheating one audience.
Remember the hold: when you scale, spend grows today while confirmed revenue arrives later. So scaling decisions are made on confirmed numbers, and you keep a budget reserve for the length of the hold.
